Easy Access From Vancouver
Easy access is one of Northern Escape’s biggest advantages. From Vancouver airport, it is a seamless 90-minute flight to Terrace and a short 40-min drive to the Lodge. Or if you prefer, we can arrange a heli flight from Terrace Airport directly to the lodge’s doorstep. Northern Escape Mountain Lodge is one of the most accessible wilderness lodges in BC. With up to five direct flights a day from Vancouver, very few other remote lodges are as connected to the outside world. The regional airport in Terrace has recently been upgraded with a modern radar landing system. This helps keep the airport open and the flights on schedule, which ultimately reduces delays and cancelled flights making arrivals easy. In comparison with other remote lodges, you will likely save two days of travel time on your trip, as well as extra hotel and associated costs.

The Northern Escape Mountain Lodge is located just north of the charming town of Terrace in beautiful Northern BC. The newly constructed, $4.2M mountain lodge, with a contemporary mountain chalet feel, offers you and your team an all-inclusive five-star experience. It is located near the banks of Treston Lake and is surrounded by majestic mountains, endless forests, and glacier-fed lakes and rivers. You won’t be roughing it in this lodge as it comes equipped with first-class amenities. Each of our ten guest rooms has its own en-suite bathroom, and high-speed WiFi is available throughout the lodge. Flatscreen TV’s, printing and meeting facilities are available.
Start your day with a helicopter excursion or a whale watching tour. Make it back to the lodge just in time for apres snacks prepared by our very own Red Seal chefs and paired with the best from our fully stocked bar. End your day with a massage and a relaxing session in our outdoor hot tub, which gets your team ready for the next day’s adventure.
